Rob Dughi
Rob joined the GSM team in July
2006. His previous work experience included 26 years as
a lawyer and lobbyist for AT&T. He is a veteran of the
telecommunications business and brings with him an
extensive knowledge of the industry, its players and the
laws governing telecommunications at the federal and
state levels.
The last position he held at AT&T
was Vice President and General Attorney for AT&T State
Government Affairs, a position he was in for 8 years.
In that role, Mr. Dughi was responsible for directing
and managing AT&T’s state law and government affairs
teams throughout the United States.
As part of that position Rob also
represented AT&T at various national meetings of
Governors, Legislators and Attorneys’ General. The
management experience and intimate knowledge of public
and political affairs that he gained from his tenure in
that job make him particularly well suited to lend his
support to GSM.
Mr. Dughi received his J.D degree
from Georgetown University Law Center and his BA degree
from the University of Virginia.
