Donald E. Stark
Don Stark is one of the founders of Gogerty Stark Marriott. He has led public affairs strategy for clients such as AT&T, Weyerhaeuser Real Estate and PACCAR.
For the past few years, Stark has supervised the firm's consulting activities for the Boeing Company on governmental, environmental and community relations issues. He is the lead consultant on behalf of Wal-Mart for public affairs and media strategy in Washington State and consults with a number of businesses and organizations that are impacted by major transportation projects in the Puget Sound area.
He offers considerable experience in local government finance and management, having served as director of the Office of Management and Budget for the City of Seattle, and as Deputy Mayor of the City of Renton.
Stark is the former chair and a member of the Executive Board of the Alki Foundation, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. He chaired an ad-hoc group of senior communications professionals that advocated for improvement of migrant farm worker housing conditions in Washington State; he is also a member of the Pacific Northwest Regional Advisory Board of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith.
Stark is a University of Washington graduate and also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma.
